XIII: the remake presents its weapons to us in video, but where is the Switch version?

The end of the trailer suggests a not-so-reassuring future for players awaiting the title on Nintendo’s console.

Next month will arrive XIII, a remake of Ubisoft’s game originally released in 2003, this time developed by PlayMagic and published by Microids, which is based on the famous comic book by Jean Van Hamme and William Vance. We follow Treize, a man who wakes up with amnesia on a beach and finds himself at the heart of a huge plot.

This week it’s IGN sharing a new trailer for XIII, focused on the arsenal . The player will have access to a whole bunch of weapons in the adventure, be it a 9mm pistol, a .44 Magnum (which cannot be eaten), an M16 assault rifle , a double barreled shotgun. or a bazooka . This is not all discreet, so to avoid being spotted, Treize will also be able to use a silent pistol, throwing knives, a crossbow and a harpoon . Finally, some very practical tools such as a grapple, hooks or a spy microphone will be there to help him in his missions.

As the trailer’s ending reminds us, XIII is due out November 10, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and … that’s it. The video does not indeed mention the Nintendo Switch version , however normally expected on the same date. So, assembly error or postponement? Mystery.
